Here are some common questions about our service

Level Up offers an easy-to-use platform that helps students calculate their GPA accurately and efficiently. It allows users to manually input their course grades and credit hours to get instant results, helping them track academic performance and progress across semesters. The system aims to reduce manual calculation errors, save time, and support students in planning their academic goals.

GPA Calculator:

  1. Type in the subject/course name.

  2. Enter your credit hours (e.g., 3).

  3. Choose or enter your grade (e.g., A, B+, C, etc.).

  4. Add more rows for other subjects using the “Add” or “+” button.

💡 Tip: If you’re unsure of grade points (e.g., A = 4.00, B+ = 3.50), the system usually fills them automatically.

Once all subjects are entered, click Calculate (or a similar button).

The system will show:

  • Your GPA value

  • Possibly your total credit hours

  • And your average grade point

You can use this to see if you’re improving or to set a target for the next semester.

GPA=Total Credit Hours ÷ Total Credit Points
Where:
Credit Points = (Grade Point × Credit Hour) for each course
Total Credit Points = Sum of all course Credit Points
Total Credit Hours = Sum of all course Credit Hours
Example:
If you got A (4.00) in a 3 credit subject and B+ (3.50) in a 2 credit subject :

GPA=(4.00×3)+(3.50×2) ÷ 3+2 = 19 ÷ 5 = 3.80

Use this calculator to know your current GPA, CGPA, and how many points you need to reach your target next semester.

Carry Mark Calculator (50% or 60%)

If your course has coursework + final exam marks:

  1. Open Carry Mark 50% (for courses with 50% coursework weight) or 60% (for courses with 60% coursework weight).

  2. Enter your marks (e.g., quiz, test, assignment, project).

  3. The calculator will total your carry mark.

PB = Total Marks Obtained ÷ Total Marks Available x PB Weightage
Where:
• Total Marks Obtained = Total marks you scored from all PB components
• Total Marks Available = Maximum marks for all PB components combined
• PB Weightage = The percentage allocated for PB (usually 50% of the total course marks)
Example:
If you scored 38 out of 50 marks for all PB components, and PB weightage is 50%:
PB = 38 ÷ 50
= 38%

Use this calculator to check your carry mark and know how many marks you need in the final exam to reach your target grade.

Planning Target

  1. Open Planning Target.
  2. Enter the GPA you want to achieve.
  3. Adjust grades or subjects to see what you’d need to score.

This helps you set realistic academic goals.

CGPA = Total Credit Points from All Semesters ÷ Total Credit Hours from All semester

To find your Target CGPA, the calculator uses :
Target CGPA = ( Previous CGPA x Total Previous Credit ) + ( Current GPA x Current Credits ) ÷ Total Credits Combined

Where :
• Previous CGPA = Your CGPA before this semester
• Total Previous Credits = Total credit hours from all previous semesters
• Current GPA = GPA you expect or aim to achieve this semester
• Current Credits = Total credit hours for this semester
Example :
If your previous CGPA is 3.20 with 60 total credits, and this semester you take 18 credits aiming for 3.80 :
Target CGPA = (3.20 x 60 ) + (3.80 x 18) ÷ 78 = 3.34
